Love Letter #56: No Matter How Beautiful

“Divine Beloved, help me to believe the truth about myself no matter how beautiful it is.”

This affirmation came to me from a friend not long ago. It’s rather deep and profound if you let yourself sit with it for a while. No matter how beautiful it is.

How often do we downplay our own magnificence? Dismiss our brilliance, and often dull our light because we don’t want to outshine others. We don’t want to seem conceited, self-centered or selfish. But the truth is, you are the Universe in physical form. You are breathtakingly and divinely human.

There is nothing small, or dim, or insignificant about you.

When I can see the depth of my own beauty, I call look back and see that reflected in you too.

So, I invite you to take this affirmation into contemplation…to breathe it in. To allow yourself to embody it, and allow it to flow through you and out into the world.

“Divine Beloved…help me to see the truth about myself…No. Matter. How. Beautiful. It. Is.

With love,
