Love Letter #130: Life is Simple

You and I hold the power to shape our reality. As Louise Hay writes, “Life is simple. What we give out, we get back” (You Can Heal Your Life). The state of our being or the energetic vibration we put out into the world returns to us in some form or another.

What we believe and feel is what our subconscious mind accepts as true for us. And, in a world that demands perfection, we often emit vibrations that don’t serve us. We strive to impress rather than allow ourselves to express the love that we are.

 What we energize, energizes us.

What we seek, is seeking us.

What we love, loves us.

What we give out comes back to us.

The question is, what do we want back?

I believe, as Louise Hay did, that our lives are complicated only because of the lack of unconditional self-love.

The relationship with ourselves shapes every aspect of our existence. When we fail to love ourselves unconditionally, we open the door to self-doubt, insecurity, and inner turmoil. Rather than embrace our inherent worthiness and our imperfections, we can find ourselves trapped in a cycle of self-criticism and comparison.

A lack of self-love often shows up in our interactions with others and the world. When we look for external validation or measure our worth by societal standards, we give our power to be dictated by factors outside of our control.

Moreover, not loving ourselves unconditionally leads to resisting simplicity because simplicity requires us to face our innermost fears and vulnerabilities. We cling to overwhelm, busyness, distractions, and possessions as a way means of filling the void within thinking that external validation can make up for our internal conflict.

The path to self-love begins with simplicity.

Embracing all of ourselves with compassion and acceptance creates a foundation for inner peace and fulfillment that transcends external circumstances. We learn to prioritize our well-being and set boundaries that honor our needs and desires. In doing so, we liberate ourselves from the chains of complexity and rediscover the joy of living authentically and in alignment with our true selves.

The practice of self-love and self-approval is an ongoing journey of self-discovery and self-care. By nurturing a stronger sense of self-love, we create a path for simplicity to enrich our lives, leading to increased clarity, satisfaction, and a deeper connection with ourselves and the world.

With love,

Looking to simplify? Contrary to common belief, life coaching focuses on removing what no longer benefits you, rather than adding more to your plate. It’s about finding the courage to let go of what doesn’t serve you and embracing self-love. If this interests you…let’s talk!
