Love Letter #122: Embracing Imperfections

A pathway to growth

I’ve been talking about a shift in my Facebook community and today is the day!!

Allow me to introduce you to Sacred Humans – wildly imperfect beings living and loving divinely. ™

We are all human and sacred. Everything about us and our lives is sacred. We are perfect in our essence and imperfect in our humanness. And yet, perfectionism has conditioned us to hide parts of ourselves we perceive to be imperfect.

I define perfectionism as an unnatural, inauthentic, and exhausting pattern driven by the fear of being criticized or shamed for being one’s true self.

I had to come face-to-face with my perfectionism in creating Sacred Humans. That inner critical voice can get very loud when we decide to do what feels both inspired and unsettling. I’ve been getting a lot of “who do you think you are” thoughts and feelings. We’ll talk about how to navigate these situations in the community.

Perfectionism limits our self-expression by imposing rigid standards and expectations on ourselves, leading to fear of failure or judgment. Most of us never feel good enough unless everything we do meets impossibly high standards. (my brain, right in this moment, is wondering if this love letter is good enough…sigh).

Perfectionism is exhausting and keeps us from being real, and truly living a wildly imperfect and profoundly fulfilling life. A life of inner peace, calm, and joy.

Embracing our imperfections is a radical act of self-love.

The Sacred Humans community is a safe space where we embrace our inherent imperfections and celebrate our divine essence. A sanctuary for those who seek to navigate life’s journey with authenticity, compassion, and a deeper sense of interconnectedness. There is no separation between us – we all breathe the same air.

In Sacred Humans, imperfections are not flaws to be hidden, but pathways to growth, expansion, wisdom, and profound connection with ourselves and others.

This community will be imperfect because I’m following intuitive nudges into something new. There’s no road map. I’m feeling my way through this.

I’ve always understood life to be a grand experiment, and when we say yes to the nudges, the Universe conspires to support us in ways we can’t imagine with our thinking brains. I’m saying yes, taking the leap, and I invite you to come along on this adventure with me.

An adventure of acceptance and belonging, personal growth and empowerment, and spiritual exploration in a supportive community of like-minded individuals all navigating the complexities of this human experience with grace and gratitude.

We are wildly imperfect, yet open, willing, and ready to live and love divinely.

If this speaks to your heart and soul…welcome. You can join us here. SACRED HUMANS COMMUNITY
